Tabular Alumina
Tabular alumina is a kind of pure sintered alumina, which is sintered and completely shrink without adding any additive ,with coarse crystals and well-developed α- Al2O3 crystal structure. The tabular crystal structure is characterized by narrow pores, with more closed porosity, almost the same apparent porosity compare with fused corundum ,high purity, good stability volume density , tiny refiring shrink. After high temperature treament, tabular alumina is used for refractoris and castable characterized by good thermal shock stability and flexural strength.
Application
- 1 Refractory castables,ramming mass
- 2 Hook refractory material,refractory brick
- 3 Other refractories
